Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the International Conference on Movement Science, Orthopaedic Innovation, and Medical AI Technologies (MOMAI 2026), held jointly with the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Taiwanese Society of Movement Science and Technology (TSMST).

Our gathering this year is driven by a critical global challenge: as populations age and the burden of musculoskeletal disorders grows, the need for innovative, interdisciplinary solutions has never been greater. The theme, "Innovating the Future of Human Movement and Musculoskeletal Health" invites us to bridge the gap between fundamental biomechanics, orthopaedic surgery, and artificial intelligence.

The landscape of healthcare is transforming. Throughout this conference, we will explore breakthroughs that are reshaping clinical practice—from neuromusculoskeletal modeling and wearable sensing to AI-driven clinical support and surgical innovations. These technologies are not only changing how we analyze mobility but are also enabling personalized treatments that enhance patient outcomes across the lifespan.

During this event, we invite you to actively share your insights and forge new partnerships. This forum is designed to foster the integration of scientific knowledge and engineering innovation, accelerating the development of next-generation strategies for prevention, rehabilitation, and precision care.

Thank you for joining us to chart a forward-looking vision for our global community. Let us inspire one another to shape a healthier, more mobile future through rigorous science and responsible AI.

Warm regards,

Hsiang-Ho Chen, Hsin-Yi Kathy Cheng, and Chih-Hsiu Cheng

Innovating the Future of Movement & Musculoskeletal Health

MOMAI 2026, Penghu

The International Conference on Movement Science, Orthopaedic Innovation, and Medical AI Technologies (MOMAI 2026) brings together global leaders in biomechanics, orthopaedic research, medical engineering, and artificial intelligence to advance the understanding and care of human movement.  As populations age and the burden of musculoskeletal disorders continues to grow, the need for innovative, interdisciplinary solutions has never been greater. This conference provides a unique forum for researchers, clinicians, and engineers to share breakthroughs that reshape how we analyze movement, diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, and apply intelligent technologies in clinical practice.

Participants will explore the full spectrum of human movement research, including fundamental biomechanics, orthopaedic surgical innovation, rehabilitation engineering, and data driven approaches that expand clinical decision making. With keynote lectures from internationally recognized experts and focused sessions bridging basic science and applied practice, the conference aims to inspire new collaborations and chart a forward looking vision for the global community.

The conference highlights emerging insights in motion analysis, neuromusculoskeletal modeling, digital health systems, surgical technologies, wearable sensing, and AI driven clinical support. These areas are transforming the way we evaluate mobility, personalize treatments, and enhance patient outcomes across the lifespan.  By fostering the integration of scientific knowledge, engineering innovation, and intelligent computation, the meeting seeks to accelerate the development of next generation strategies for prevention, rehabilitation, and precision orthopaedic care.

This gathering reflects a shared commitment to shaping a healthier, more mobile future through rigorous science, creative engineering, and responsible AI.
